Copyright Notice

The Library will fill requests for single copies of articles with the understanding that the requester accepts full responsibility for compliance with the copyright law of the United States (Tile 17, U.S. Code). This law governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certian conditions of "fair use" specified in the law, libraries are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction provided that the copy is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research."

Photocopies of materials are yours to keep.

The Library is obligated to refuse to make copies if, in its judgment, doing so would involve violation of the copyright law. If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy for purposes in excesses of "fair use," that user may be liable for infringement.
