Study/Conference Rooms
The Library and Learning Center have several group study/conference rooms available for use by LBCC students, faculty, and staff.
- Room 141 in the Library seats 2-3
- Room 142 in the Library seats 8-10.
- Room 203 in the Learning Center seats up to 4 students.
- Room 204 in the Learning Center seats up to 8 students.
- Room 202 in the Learning Center is a designated “quiet room;” it is only available for drop-in use.
Reservation Policies - Rooms 141, 203, and 204
- Students may reserve rooms 141, 203, and 204 on a same-day basis by signing their names on a timesheet in a desired time slot.
- These rooms may only be reserved once per day, for a period up to 2 hours, by an individual student.
- If no reservations have been made for a particular time slot, the rooms may be used on a first-come/first served basis.
- On occasion, single students using any of the study/conference rooms may be asked by Library or Learning Center staff to leave so that a small group might use the room.
Reservation Policies - Room 142
- LBCC faculty and staff may reserve this room any time in advance of their use by calling the Library service desk (for WH 142). Student groups may reserve this room up to 5 days in advance by calling the Library service desk. Users should make arrangements for any desired equipment at the time of reservation. Please consult the calendar below to check for availability.
- Reservations for this room will be posted on a daily basis.
- If Room 142 has not been reserved for a particular time slot, it may be used by students on a first-come/first served basis.
- Library and Learning Center use of this conference room takes priority over any reservations. Occasionally, groups who have reserved these conference rooms may be asked to relocate (this will be done as far in advance as possible of the reserved time slot).
